Hi,
If you share my concerns regarding Tribe's upcoming policy changes that will move us toward a more G-rated environment, please join the Tribe Moderators tribe so that you can voice your concerns directly to management.
Sincerely,
Jay

Re: Attention fellow moderators
Fri, December 9, 2005 - 2:37 PMUnfortunately its the government that is scaring tribe and others into the G rated realm! The 2257 monster is rearing its head everywhere.
Do you know that legally on my amateur adult site I'm supposed to post an address where someone can find me at least 40 hours a week in person reachable from the front page. How safe is that! Post office boxes and offsite record keepers are no longer allowed.

Hi,
Actually "the government is making us do this" is a major rationale put forth for this, but their reasons have been a study in vagueness, ambiguity, and overall unpersuasiveness. The lawyer in me has been rolling his eyes at what tribe is putting forth in terms of "legal" rationales -- particularly when places like Yahoo have come to dramatically different conclusions.
Anyway, regarding this thread, that's neither here nor there. The important thing is for moderators to join that tribe and make your voices heard. We've only got a few days to speak up. Moderators, _please_ join that tribe and speak up!
Best,
Jay -

Sun, December 11, 2005 - 7:42 AMI agree.
Overall its a fear response based on governmental vagueness that leads to individual site policy vagueness.
Sounds a bit like some other sexually oriented policies I can think of ;)

Wed, December 14, 2005 - 7:44 AMYahoo closed all it's user rooms months ago. Now there are just general rooms like Dungeon and Bondage Ago Go. No user rooms are allowed.
